MBBS is a dream for every candidate who wishes to make his/her career as a doctor. But for it you have to crack National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) with the minimum qualifying percentile.
The process of admission in MBBS in government medical college involves a centralized counselling process which is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
If you are studying in class 12th so you are eligible for NEET 2022. But take a look of eligibility criteria below.
NEET Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or before 31st December of the year of admission in an institute.
- Both the SC/ST/OBC/PwD/General EWS candidates should be born on or before 31st December 2004 for NEET 2022.
- Qualifying Exam: Applicants must have qualified for their higher secondary examination which is recognized and equivalent to the 10+2 examination.
- Subjects: Applicants must have passed the qualifying examination with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and any other elective subjects with English.
- Minimum Marks in 12th: Applicants must secure at least 50% marks for the general category, 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC), 45% marks for general physical handicap, and 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC-PH) as aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
