what are the subject was good in puc and what was good in degree to become IAS officer please explain step by step
Greetings,
Your under graduation degree and branch do not matter much if you are going to appear for UPSC unless you choose one of your own subjects as optional.
If you want to decide on a subject to study during under graduation then go for the one which is the easiest so that you may get some extra time to prepare for UPSC
You can choose from one of the arts and humanities optional subjects in UPSC which are highly sought after like - Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, etc.
Go for the branch which will not be much of a time consuming experience later on as you near the end of your under graduation so that you can focus your attention of UPSC.
good luck!
