Gate syllabus is different for different branches.
However, apptitude and engineering mathematics remains same for all papers.
80-90% of the syllabus includes your branch papers that is obviously different for all departments.

Hi,
See its firstly your stream then comes logical reasoning and then complish english also. English covers 15 marks in it. So your basically stream in btech decides the subjects and syllabus. All the best!

Gate subjects will vary from branch to branch and the best time for the preparation of GATE is from 3rd year onwards because from 3rd year the core subjects will enter into the picture of your syllabus.
