What are the subjects offered with zoology hons
Hi jyoti,
The subjects offered by zoology hons are physics ,chemistry ,biology or maths and then you get your graduate degree or bachelor of science .
THANK YOU!
Hi Jyoti Singh,
Honors such as zoology or botany or chemistry or physics, any one of these two subsidiary subjects other than your Honours selected with a language paper with a total of around 2paper (topics) of honors plus you subsidiaries and language in which you have to at least pass, you will get rid of the subsidiaries of you make it till 3rd year where you will have the only zoology in your syllabus.
The difference between the pass course and the honors course is you only have to get minimum of 33% in each of your subjects to score a total overall of 45% .to get the graduation pass course degree. (data may differ) and in Honours graduate degree you have to score a minimum of 45% in your Honours subject and pass in your subsidiary subjects to earn that (data may differ). Both being three years long, assuming that you don't get fail and a year back penalty {if they have that }.
YOU CAN GET DETAILS OF THE HONOURS SUBJECTS AND SUBSIDIARIES COMBINATION IN THE RESPECTIVE PROSPECTUS OF THE COLLEGE.
choose colleges which give carryover PASSING, instead of YEAR BACK if you get failed in subsidiary subjects, so that you do not get dumped if you fail in one subsidiary, just in case
OPT For broad fields of study over specifications right now, For example, ZOOLOGY over BIOTECHNOLOGY, so that you have wide scopes which you can narrow down once you know what you live to study, so it does not become a burden over time.Folks My answer is in accordance and relevant to those who want to get into research by qualifying CSIR, students I know today, are more specific, they know exactly what to do where to go and what to seek. So, they opt for microbiology right at the Graduation level, They will be continuing MSC in Microbiology and then there respective competitive tests at national levels.
SIMILAR OPTIONS ARE TRUE FOR, BIOTECHNOLOGY, YOU OPT FOR BIOTECH AT GRADUATION OR BSC LEVEL, THEN YOU DO MASTERS THAT IS M. TECH. and THEN QUALIFY NET/JRF FROM DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY OR DBT.
So things are specialized, streams are narrowed down, minds are focussed, lots of work going extensively and exclusively, YOU JUST HAVE TO FIGURE OUT, WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT, WHAT YOU REALLY LOVE TO DO. PEOPLE ARE JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO COME AND GET IT. Talk to them, find your options, set your limits, eyes on the horizon, and get going.
