Hello,

You need to carry the following things.

  • XAT admit card along with photo-identity proof such as passport, Voter ID, Adhaar card or driving license, or any other ID issued by the Government of India.
  • Students must not carry any electronic item to the test centre. Things like mobile phones, calculators, etc. are not allowed inside the test centre.
  • Reach the exam center at least an hour before the test begins.

You can take both either colour or black and white admit card. There is no problem, only make sure that if you take black and white then your photo and other details are clearly visible.

  • Entry to the test centre is on the basis of admit cards. It is important for you to carry a hard copy of their admit cards. Admit cards were to be downloaded from the official website of XAT. They must download their admit cards before the last date as no admit cards will be sent to you by post.
  • You must also carry one Identification proof along with them to their XAT 2018 exam centre. The ID proof must be original. The ID proof could be passport, Voter ID, Adhaar card or driving license, or any other ID issued by the Government of India
  • Although XAT has moved online this year, you must carry a pen, in case of any unforeseen need.
  • You must not carry any electronic item to the test centre. The exam centres will not take responsibility for any of your personal items. Things like mobile phones, calculators, etc. are not allowed inside the test centre.
  • Reach the XAT 2018 exam centre at least an hour before the test begins. You should, in fact, visit the exam centre a day before to check the distance and time taken to reach there and ascertain mode of transportation.
  • It is advisable not to carry food items to the exam venue as well because the candidates will not be allowed to eat anything during the exam. They will be provided with drinking water at the centre, though.
  • Most importantly, you must leave stress and nervousness at home and carry positivity and confidence to the exam centre. You must stay calm and composed during the exam and write the test to the best of your ability without losing focus.

All the best!!
