What are the tips for someone who wants to apply for LSE amd other prominent Economics colleges.
Hello,
London School of Economics and any other prestigious Economics college will basically boast the same tips for you that when they are summed up are :
- Have an airtight resumé: work with organizations, do work related to economics, try and write articles On the Current economic condition of the country, the reasons behind it and how it can be solved, never give up even the smallest oppurtunity of doing something or taking some skill that will benefit you.
- Put heavy effort during application process: Spend time on your application by starting early.
Think alot about the personal statement or essay. Filling in forms isn’t always the most interesting task but applying to graduate school, especially in another country, means that you are unlikely to have the opportunity to have an interview.
The essay, therefore, is like an interview on paper and has to be structured accordingly – honest, enthusiastic, confident and well argued – so that a university can get a sense of your personality and your strengths.
Plan: I cannot stress this enough. You need to take care of guidelines, deadlines, submissions, of every college you want to apply to. Make sure to take notes about such important things. Start a year early if you want.
Watch reviews, get advice: There are many youtube videos that shall show you students giving advice and reviews as to how to get in and what you can do to make your application better. This always helps.
Hope this helped. Good luck for your future.
