Its true that IITs, IIITs, BITS, NITS ate top engineering colleges of India. But all NITs are not too good and all Bits college are not too good. Some others private and government institutions are better than some NITs and bits. DTU, PEC Chandigarh, Thapa University Patiala, PSG Coimbatore, ICT Gandhinagar are also very good institutions which does not have any tag but are better than some NITs & BITS.

- See the top engineering colleges in India are the various reputed IITs - Madras, Kharagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Kanpur etc and various reputed NITs - Warangal, Trichy etc.
- Other top engineering colleges are the various IIITs, BITS Pilani, DTU, PEC, Thapar University, VIT, SRM, Manipal University.

Hello Rakshitha , The top engineering colleges in India are IIT Madras , IIT Bombay , IIT Kharagpur , IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur , IIT Roorkee , IIT Hyderabad etc.
These have been considered as the top and the best engineering colleges of India .
