It began during the 19th century with the innovation of hand-held camera. These days every 2nd person you see turns out to be an amateur photographer owing to the demands of keeping up with the trends in social media. Amateur photography isn’t contract based or paid form of work. It’s mainly for self-pleasure and training in the field.

Commercial photography which is something professional photographers do. And here is where money pours in! A lot of categories fall under this, but its good to remember that every professional photographer was once a amateur .
