CLAT which is known as comman law admission test is a exam which is conducted by NLUs(NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITIEs).It is a online based exam which is conducted on 2nd sunday of may every year.Its marks are useful in taking admission in NLUs and other goverment and good private colleges.CLAT notification and application opens in JAN and last day of filling the form is in march .Exam is conduct in second sunday of may .Result announced in month of may end .Counseling occur in june.
For becoming a good lawyer you should be from good colleges such as NLUs.For UG 2300 seats are available and for PG 600 seats are available.
CLAT is a exam which conduct by NLU having 200 questions from different sections.Duration of exam is 2 hours

1.You can do B.A(Hons) LLB from NLU.
2.You can do B.Com(Hons) LLB from NLU.
3.You can do BSC(Hons) LLB from NLU.

Corporate Counsel
Law graduates can work with company/corporate entity as an in-house counsel, advising on legal matters related to the business. An in-house counsel is responsible for legal works like negotiating contracts, drafting and vetting; ensuring and monitoring compliance with rules and laws. They are also responsible for handling legal disputes. Counsels are also required in other sectors like Public Sector Undertakings, Government Agencies, Nationalized banks etc. These government organizations usually recruit law graduates through a written competitive exam followed by an interview.
Judicial /Civil services Those who wish to pursue a stable government career can opt for the State Judicial Service Examination organized by the High Courts for their respective states. Apart from this, one may also go for the Civil Service Examination conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission), as it is the most prestigious examination in the country.
LAW FIRMS Law Firms are basically the business entitles engaged in the practice of law. There’s a noticeable trend that has appeared in the last few years is to move from solo practice to well organized law firms, which include several lawyers working together as one entity. As part of a law firm, one advises clients on other legal matters and also about their rights and resources.
Litigation
