The university awards scholarships to meritorious students who are excelled in their academics. Scholarships are also given on the need basis to the needy students. Students can apply in various state/central scholarships schemes. The schemes are as follows:
- PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child
- PG Scholarships for SC/ST students for undertaking professional courses
- Post Matric Scholarship for SC students- Assam
