what ate the pros and cons of parul university?Is it good for cse?

If you by the reviews of former students of Parul university, it has a lot of pros and cons both. I’ll be honest and mention everything to you, so that you can choose wisely.

1.Education-Faculties hail from IITs and NITs in mech and civil department but are not much experienced so quality of education provided is better but not one among the best, on the same note practical labs are fully geared up with all the kits in working condiditon.6/10

2.Discipline-Highly Disciplined institute. Very strict rules and Regulations.10/10

3.Crowd- Initially crowd was from gujarat but with time it has done great job in terms of marketing. You will get a mix crowd of not only india but also few African countries like Uganda, Rwanda etc 8/10

4.industrial exposure-industrial visits are organized on regular basis so you get good industrial exposure.7/10

5.Placement-statistics are sleeky.it prepares students by taking their Campus Qualifying Test failing which they are not allowed to sit for the campus drives,somehow everyone clears that.

some students also face issues with language, like the students in the parul university mostly converse in Gujarati and not English.

Teachers even being well versed with their field, are given so much clerical work that they cant  wholly focus on students.

I would suggest you to visit the university personally and then decide for yourself
