Hello Aspirant,

In JNU M.A English Literature Entrance, The Candidates will be examined in Literature in English, Literature in India and Other Parts of the World, English in India, Literary and Cultural Theories, Non-Literary Artistic Forms, the Relationship between Literature, Culture and Society, and Practical Criticism of given literary pieces.

There is no any particular book for the preparation of JNU Entrance Exam. You can prefer your Graduation level books as per the syllabus to prepare the entrance.

Good Luck!

David Daiches English book is a very popular one to prepare for MA ENGLISH ENTRANCE EXAM. Try to read the summary of the articles written by Shakespeare, Dickens, etc. Don't forget to make your own notes for the English literature. And you can also buy arihant publications book for reference.

Best wishes. Thank-you.
