Hello Aspirant,
See to appear in JEE-Advance you must have passed your class 12th in the current year or last year suppose if you are currently doing B.Sc and also passed class 12th this year then you can appear for JEE-Advance 2022 or if you had passed class 12th last year then you are only eligible for JEE-Advance 2021, provided that you must qualify 2021 or 2022 and for JEE-Main there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them because to sit in JEE-Advance, qualifying JEE-Main is mandatory :-
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2021 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2019, 2020 or 2021; or those who are appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2021, are eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
