Hi Anvay,
As u know CLAT is a National level entrance examination which is given by students who dream to be part of some top law institutes of India. In 2017 ,CLAT recorded over 54000 applicants fighting for just 2432 seatsand the number of applicants is increasing steadily every year. So it is always better to have second options.
So here are a few options which u could consider.
1)Pursue a 3 year LLB degree instead
You can pursue Law after a normal UG Degree also.In case your not able to clear CLAT then look for degree programs which can form a base to pursue law at later stage. It is good if you choose good universities which can provide you much exposure(for example Delhi University)
Start a career in Law. Admissions Open for LLB courses for
2)You can also explore related professions like Company Secretary. You can even work as a chief legal advisor etc.
3)You should ofcourse look at other entrance exams like LSAT(Law School Admission Test),BLAT(Banars Hindu University Law Admission Test) etc.One of the NLUs ,NLU Delhi conducts it's own entrance exam called AILET which you can consider too. Many of these exams are much easier and also has much higher seat intake.
4)You can even take a drop year and prepare for CLAT.But I personally suggest my 1st point is a better way rather than wasting your valuable year.
