The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam is a state level entrance exam that acts as a gateway for admission into various B.E/B.Tech programmes in the state of West Bengal. The participating institutions will declare their own cut off scores after the announcement of the WBJEE Results.

The cut off scores are usually determined on the basis of the following parameters:

1. The total number of students appeared for the examination
2. Difficulty level of the exam
3. Total number of vacant seats
4. Previous year cutoff
