What can I do after 12th to make career in psychology ? Or say what should I do after 12th to be clinical psychologist?

It's good to see budding clinical psychologists in India. Our country needs a huge number Mental health specialists to tackle the ever-growing problems of mental health.



To become a clinical psychologist you have to do the following. Read ahead.



Right after class XII, enroll into a good College with either a BSc or BA degree in Psychology.

Make sure to do atleast one internship during your graduation program. It would be of great help in securing your admission in a good University for your Masters. Go for either a MSc or MA in General Psychology or the best case scenario would be going for Applied Psychology (specialisation in Clinical Psychology). In Applied Psychology, you'll get to choose your specialistion in the second semester. You can choose from Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Industrial Psychology Here, to get the following universities you'll have to crack the entrance examinations conducted by the same. in order to be a clinical psychologist , you have to do a major in clinical psychology. You can do your BA or BS degree in psychology after 12th and then do post graduation where you major in clinical psychology as one of the subjects. You have various institute that offer clinical psychology degree in India with good placements too. Yu can also pursue major in clinicla psychology abroad as well.

Well for doing psychology  after 12th you can take up bsc courses in psychology and then further do msc in it. Psychology is an evergreen field i would prefer you to take up that
