Coming to your question, After completing Diploma in Electrical Engineering program, you may go for Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering through lateral entry. If you have good grades then you may make use of lateral entry and join B.E./B.Tech. Electrical Engineering program’s 2nd academic year (directly).

Electrical Engineering, being one of the core branches of engineering, it offers alot of job opportunities, both in the private and the government sector.
