What can I do after diploma (electrical) ......?

After Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you can go a job immediately, however the job will be very low paying, low end and you will get frustrated after a year or two. After Diploma majority of the students go a engineering degree. You also get direct entry into the second year of engineering in BE. This is also a very good option and highly recommended to become a graduate engineer instead of remaining just a diploma holder. After you complete your engineering degree, you can get average jobs with average salary packages since the industry today does not give high salaries to fresh graduate engineers.

One more area which you can explore after completing your Diploma is BBA in Construction Management. BBA in Construction Management is a unique and no where present course which gives you an additional value addition in the form of construction management aspects which are not taught in the engineering degree from the management angle. So, depending upon your interest you can choose what you want.

You can do a lot of stuff with your diploma degree. You can apply for govt. Jobs, you can apply for engineering degree. If you are want to persue engineering then you have to apply for JEXPO exam by which you can get a lateral entry in 2nd year of engineering Colleges.

Or you can apply for jobs in electrical department or IT department.

There are lot of stuffs you can do with your diploma degree the only thing is you need to explore the opportunities.
