Hello,

You can go for BPharm if you're in class 12th , generally speaking the eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Pharmacy candidates need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% or above aggregate (depending on the norms of university) withPhysic, Chemistry, Maths/Biology,English.

Admission process varies among universities, some conduct entrance exams

MET by Manipal Academy of Higher Education,
PUCET by Punjab University,
BITSAT

there are also state level exams such as WBJEE, KCET, MHT CET, KEAM, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, UPSEE,OJEE etc, and and in Jamia Hamdard(Delhi) NEET scores are accepted for BPharm admission, while for others it's based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Jop opportunities for BPharma are there in Hospitals, Medical Clinics, Government Drug research Institutes, Indian Companies like Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Sun Pharmaceuticals,Lupin,Cipla,Piramal and then there are international drug research companies such as Johnson & Johnson,Pfizer,AbbVie,Novartis, Baxter, Covance, Novo Nordisk, Amgen,Merck,GlaxoSmithkline, Nestle, Abbott, Cipla etc.

Job profile includes that of Drug Inspector which has average monthly salary of Rs 55,000 to Rs 70,000 that of a pharmacist has Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 60,000 on monthly basis, private firm employees can earn up to one lakh per month after gaining experience of few years , other than this there are Pharmaceutical Scientist,Medical Writer, Drug Safety Associate, Clinical Research Associate, sales and marketing executive in Pharma/ Biotech firms, etc.In addition to this, you can also open your own chemist shop.

The average monthly salary of a drug inspector is around Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 70,000, while a pharmacist earns around Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month on average. Those working in private firms can earn up to Rs. 1 lakh per month after a few years of experience.

For higher studies, candidates can also pursue MPharma, Pharm D or pursuing MBA in healthcare management.
