Hey!
First, answer this question.
Eligibility to write your JEE Mains is to be a student of higher secondary school or its equivalent. But, is the converse true?
Since the exam is being conducted by the Central Board, the core syllabus of the exam is in your textbooks (if you are a CBSE student) and I recommend you to read, learn and grasp every minute topic. This will assure that you qualify in your Mains exam. To improve your score, you can practice questions from the 'NCERT Exemplar Problems' books for Maths, Physics and Chemistry. However practice after your board exams are done and practice hard (even if the gap between your last board exam and Mains exam is as less as 3 days).
If you are studying your 12th or equivalent right now, I hope you made the right choice by picking the convenient slot for attempting Mains exam. From your profile, I assess that you are an Engineering aspirant. Do not be confused on what stream to pick before you join a college. Discover your specific interest.
Hope my opinion answers your query. All the best!
hello saira..
at this time you should focus on your 12th exams beacuse they will make a path for your future as well, because i have my personal experience that if you don't have good marks in 12th so you may can not score good in jee ig you get good marks in jee nd you don't have god score in 12th so there is no benefit so focus on 12th first ..
all the best ..
thanks ..
Hello,
At this time i would suggest you to prepare for class 12th board exams as it will help you for preparations of jee mains too.Focus on ncert books and try to make all your doubts clear.Practice previous years questions and give mock tests to check your preparation level.
Try to follow a proper timetable for your preparations and practice as many questions as you can .
Good luck.
heyy
this is the problem faced by each and every IIT aspirant , i was alo once in the same scenario and it was like a nightmare. see the main thing is you do not have to study 2 different things . the subjects are the same just the level is different .according to me you must take care of your school level exams first and remember that while studying read by concepts rather than mugging up. learn the cocepts properly and give the exams without any fear and all now you have to do is after the exams revise those cocepts once again the raise the level to JEE and mind you it would be 100 times easy than starting fro the scratch.
all the best !
Study Smart with Study Hard.
- Focus on Concept and Theory: You will be heavily tested based on theoretical concepts in JEE Mains as well as Boards. So, your basics should be crystal clear.
- Revise Thoroughly: Revision is the key to success, so you must keep revising important chapters in the aspect of Mains and Boards.
- Test Series: You must join test series available on the online platform, analyze your scores and augment your studying methodology accordingly.
Firstly focus on your board exams. As per the changes in the pattern of JEE (Main) exam, for the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE (Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination,or be in the the top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective boards.
