Hello dear student,

First of all I would like to tell you that the course curriculum college set for the students is enough good to get a good hand in wet lab. And when you search for internships try to find it in a really good institution where they let you work and gives you hand on practice rather than asking you to watch their work.  So if you are in your first year of MSc you will get 2 months summer break in which you can do summer internship. And after this you can try for a good institution for dissertation because that is something very important. When you opt for a field like bio-technology then you have to have a good knowledge of wet lab if you want to persuade you career in research. So nothing extra is needed to be done . Even if you are job oriented the trick is same as mentioned above . Get a good grip on your concepts and your skills in wet lab.
