So in order to become software enginer you should have atleast bachelor degree in Computer science or related field . number of courses at bachelor and master level is offered in this field .

Bachelor of technology in computer Science & enginering

Bachelor of technology in Information Technology & enginering

Bachelor of Computer application

Bachelor of science in CSE/IT

In study Curriculum of software engineering thre are different programming language such as C,C++,python,Java,ruby,C# and many more .these languages are used to dsign different types of software application .

Apart from this you can learn these programming languages by getting yourself enroll in online bootcamps or courses which teaches Languages from scratch after having good hands in these languages you can try to work on various projects and try to find Internship related your field of work which can give you exposure to practical world and will make you industry ready.

To be able to become a software engineer, you need to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) combination in your 12th standard. After you 12th board examinations are over, you need to appear for various entrance examinations.

After the results of those entrance examinations are announced, if you have a valid score and rank, you can attend the counselling procedure for the respective entrance examination. During the counselling procedure, you can select a college of your choice and the branch of engineering you wish to opt for (depending on availability). Here you can choose Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or Information Technology. All the three courses mentioned have more or less the same syllabus.
