see there is several engineering colleges in india, we may devide the colleges in tier 1 , tier 2 and tier 3 category, you you have got less score, that means your rank will be high, so your chances to get admission in tier 1 or tier 2 colleges may not possible, and you may get admission in tier 3 colleges where placement record is not good, student strength is low, less number of experienced faculty.

so its depends on you whether you want to take admission in that type of college or try for some other courses .
