Therefore, in order to become a government teacher in India, the candidates must have completed Senior Secondary, Graduation, or Post Graduation. Then they must apply for a Teacher Training course such as NTT/BTC, or B.ed CBSE holds CTET (Central Eligibility Test) at the Central level to certify Primary and Elementary level teachers, while relevant State Authorities hold State TET to certify PRT, TGT, and PGT level teachers.

I hope you are doing well. As per your mentioned query, if you want to get government English teacher job in school then you have to crack the CTET exam. CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test which is a national level of exam. It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education . CBSE holds the CTET exam in two shifts wherein candidates have the option to appear in paper 1 or paper 2 or both the papers.
So , if you crack the exam then you will get the TET eligibility certificate and then you will be eligible to apply in the schools under the Central Government, unaided private schools, and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories.
