After Diploma in Computer Science, It is always a better choice to pursue Btech in Computer Science Engineering. Because CSE is one of the best Stream in Engineering to get guaranteed placement. Many IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire CSE students in bulk. For software companies the first priority is CSE and then it goes to other streams. So join Btech CSE stream in a good reputated College.

After completing Diploma Computer Engineering program, one may go for Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering. In most Degree Engineering colleges, certain percentages of seats are reserved for Diploma certificate holders. This entry is known as the lateral entry. Diploma holders with good grade may make use of lateral entry and join B.E./B.Tech. Computer Engineering programs 2nd academic year (directly). This way, Diploma holders may earn a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology Degree. After that, one may go for Masters education.
