what did iron man study what should we learn b.tech m.tech
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, In the comics, Tony had majored in Electrical Engineering and some kind of Physics.
I'd argue that, today, one should major in a combination of Computer Science and Physics to build an excellent scientific and engineering knowledge base similar to Tony Stark.
Physics is the foundation of all engineering and, knowing Tony Stark, he would master industry and engineering application of physics in any way he liked after building the best background he could in Physics in general.
But the reason someone today should do Computer Science over Electrical Engineering is because Electrical Engineering just Applied Physics, while Computer Science delves into Applied Mathematics. The mathematics is mostly different from Physics too favoring Discrete Mathematics and Linear Algebra over Advanced Calculus and Differential Equations. Electrical Engineering has more in common with Physics therefore making much of what's learned between the two redundant. It does make sense with when Tony had been created since Computer Science was still in its infancy.
You cannot build good AI like Jarvis without an intricate knowledge of Statistics, Algorithms, and Computer Science Principles. At the same time, if you did Electrical Engineering, you are mostly only qualified for that and cannot innovate in things like Aerospace (Propulsion), Mechanical, Nuclear. Etc. Physics, although not specific to either provides the applied and theoretical foundations for all of these.
It can be argued Tony could just extend his knowledge from Pure Mathematics to his industry application, but that is too far removed theoretically to have connective paths to the fictional industries he innovated in. Physics and Computer Science both exist right in the middle between theoretical and innovative pondering and industry application essentially combining into an Applied Math degree with a foundation for any Engineering or IT discipline out there.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
