I am not a Management student but put up 7 years of experience in Operations in the Big 4. I eventually grew up to a Leading position. So it is up to you as how you want to use it. Now the moment you finish your Management course, the world doesn't consider you a Manager candidate. It considers you to be a potential Candidate should the need arise. We have many top notch leaders who do not have a Management degree and still are in the top positions of the Board and we also have Management degree holders who are yet to be leaders in the firm. Some people realise the importance of a MBA degree when they are due for a promotion and then they enroll themselves for a course. Others, study little early to prepare for the storm.
