what do 10+2 mean, inter first year marks or second year marks . For btech like srm and vit admission will they consider intermediate first year or second year of state board?

Hello Aspirant,

See 10+2 comprises of class 11th/Intermediate 1st year and class 12th/Intermediate 2nd year.

So whenever you see the term mentioned 10+2 then it means that you it is discussing about class 11th and 12th it is generally mentioned in such a way because class 11th and 12th are to be completed from same board and same school as no change of board is allowed in class 12th after passing class 11th therefore it is always written as 10+2.

VIT or SRM or any other will see your percentage so that they can verify whether you are eligible for admission or not so they require your percentage of class 12th not for both 11th and 12th. Which means you have to provide them details of second year.
