If you wish to pursue MBBS as a career option in India , NEET exam is a compulsory go through . Apart from NEET , AIIMS entrance exam and JIPMER are other two options to get a seat in government medical colleges .

Through NEET , you not only get selected for government medical colleges but also the private ones .

Still if you wish to pursue MBBS without any entrance exam , then there are certain private medical colleges that offer a chance . Dear Nitin, your 10+2 marks are only an eligibility criteria for you to be be able to appear for NEET, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER. The aggregate requirement ends there. The rest depends on the score in your Entrance Examination. Now it is important to even appear for NEET even if you want to study Medicine abroad. So irrespective of how much you have scored in your 10+2, you need to qualify in NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER to join a Medical college.
