Hey aspirant

If you wish to pursue MBBS as a career option in India , NEET exam is a compulsory go through . Apart from NEET , AIIMS entrance exam and JIPMER are other two options to get a seat in government medical colleges .

Through NEET , you not only get selected for government medical colleges but also the private ones .

Still if you wish to pursue MBBS without any entrance exam , then there are certain private medical colleges that offer a chance . They have a high admission free for the course which is too overwhelming . If you can afford the cost then you can register yourself for the same . If you wish to know the private colleges that offer MBBS , do let me know .

The other part of your query about scoring above 70% in 12th will make no difference if you do not qualify NEET or any of the said medical entrance examinations . The percentage you get in boards only counts during counselling to arrange the shortlisting and selection of candidates .

Other than NEET and AIIMS , JIPMER medical entrance is conducted every year for admission to JIPMER institutes across India . The entrance exam will make you qualify for various MBBS courses across JIPMER .

I hope the above information has ment your query for any further details and questions , feel free to ask .

All the best

Thank you

Dear Nitin, your 10+2 marks are only an eligibility criteria for you to be be able to appear for NEET, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER. The aggregate requirement ends there. The rest depends on the score in your Entrance Examination. Now it is important to even appear for NEET even if you want to study Medicine abroad. So irrespective of how much you have scored in your 10+2, you need to qualify in NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER to join a Medical college.
