Must Check: GK Questions for Design Entrance Exams
Hello Renu,
In the Freeze option, you can select your choice in a particular college and confirm your admission. It ensures that your seat is fixed.
In the slide option, you can be allotted a seat from a college, and if you wish to continue in the same college, you can choose this option. Here, you can fix the college but not the branch.
In the float option, you are enabled to select another college and another branch. The seat allotment gets cancelled and you will be retained in the counselling process.
Hello!
Freeze is the option used to accept the seat in the college that you got.
Float is used to accept the seat in the college allocated but indicates that if an Institute of higher preference is allocated, then they will accept it.
Slide is used to accept the seat and indicate that if any course of higher preference in the same Institute is allocated then the candidate will accept it.
After sliding or floating, if you get allocated any course or Institute of higher preference in the next round, then you can go the centre and freeze (accept) the seat.
Dear student,
Freeze means you want to continue with the option that is alloted to you.
Slide means you have accepted the college but you want a betterment in the field in same college.
Float (this is what you should choose) means you have accepted the alloted seat but you are looking for betterment in field as well as college.
Hope it helps!!
