Your college ID is not the legal ID card and is not been issued by Government of India. For all the legal and enquiry purposes you are supposed to carry any of the following documents with you.
All the best.
Hey there
Generally by saying ID proof they mean Aadhar card, driving licence, passport etc. Admit card is not considered I'd proof and thus in order to verify the candidates details or in other words in order to identify the candidate I'd proof is asked.
Good luck
Hello Varchaswi,
Id proof refers to an identity through which you belong to that institution or that college. You can take your id card as an ex student or an Fees receipt.
Aadhaar card is an type of an identity which proves your photo identity as well as the name and address. So its better to take old ID card or fees receipt along with aadhaar card to prove your identity.
ID proof which is compulsory in all exam is your adhaar card.
So, It is highly recommend that you bring your adhaar card ,one photo, Application form.
Application form and photo for emergency case. If it asks for that than you show it.
I hope it helps you.
Happy learning!!
