    Hey Manohar,

    Value added courses are Certificate Courses which are conducted by departments to complement the  students knowledge and skills in their field of study As you belong to Mechanical Engineering.  Courses offered are chosen based on current trends,  and value of the job market In the current emerging trends!

    Few Value added courses for Mechanical Engineering students are,

    Auto CAD, CATIA, CREO, Solid works, solid edge, etc
