An economist is a professional who studies the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth in order to involve this study into practice and move the levers of modern society.
To become an economist, you have to be between 21 and 30 years old.
You must pass an entrance exam or take a test administered by the organization. If you qualify, you may be selected for the position.
After earning a master’s degree in economics, you may have the opportunity to work or serve in numerous financial institutions. You can also work in banks. You can become a financial expert at various multinational companies. In addition, many government agencies are also looking for reputable economists. You can also do internships.
Eligibility Criteria: Most of the renowned and multinational banks/ companies require a PhD degree in economics. Some MNCs also ask for an internship and a few years of professional experience in the respective field of economics.
But even with a masters degree you can apply to jobs in many big MNC’s.
