Hope you are doing well. System locked comes into play when you haven't locked the choices filled during the counseling in the given deadline. It automatically locks the filled choices and considers it as the final sequence of colleges you would like to prefer. It however, does not have any effect on your choices filled and your filled choices remain intact.
