This is the information I got from my friend, who was graduated this year.
SRKR is affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada from 2017-18 admitted batch
Recognized by the All Indian Council for Technical Education, NewDelhi.
Secured the status of 2(f) and12(B) of UGC Act in 1988.
Celebrated the Silver Jubilee during October, 6th and 7th in 2005.
Offers 6 UG Courses, 7 PG Courses and 5 Ph.D. Programmes.
Departments of Civil, ECE, EEE, IT & Mech. were recognized as researchcenters by affiliating university.
Centres of Excellence namely Water and Environment Technology (WET) researchCentre and Geospatial Information Centre(GIC) are established.
Students activities were recorded in LIMCA Book of Records, Wonder Book of Records and Unique World Records four times
Alumni have occupied very high positions at national and international level.
As Shefali said It's having high grade and surely, you can go with that.

According, to careers 360 it has AAAA rating which means Very Good.
Ratings are provided on the basis of Placements, Faculty, Cut-offs of national / state level Entrance exams, Accreditation and Reward status and Publication record from Elsevier’s indexing database - Scopus.
As per their official report 652 students were placed in 2016-17 batch.
