Hi Golu Raj,
The G ENETIC CODE is the set of rules by which information encoded in genetic material i.e. DNA or RNA sequences is translated into proteins i.e. amino acid sequences by living cells.
The genetic code is a set of three letter combinations of nucleotides called codons, each of which corresponds to a specific amino acid or stop signal.
The advantage of genetic code, is that genes can be easily transferred through various species i.e. Genetic code can be used to study the disease mechanisms in different organisms.
Genetic code can also be used to increase the varieties among various species of crops because we can easily use various models to study any disease associated with the crops and hence can increase their productivity.
