Non-verbal communication is the transfer of information through the use of body language, including eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, and more. For example, smiling when you meet someone conveys kindness, acceptance, and openness. Everyone uses non-verbal communication all the time, whether they know it or not. Non-verbal communication relies on seeing and analyzing physical movements rather than verbal communication or the use of language to transfer information through written text, speech, or sign language.

Non-verbal communication is important because it gives us valuable information about a situation, including how a person might feel, how someone receives information, and how to approach a person or group of people. Paying attention and developing the ability to read non-verbal communications is an invaluable skill that you can take advantage of at every stage of your career.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
