non verbal communication is a form of communication, where the communicator communicates messages via the use of a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, posture, and the distance between two individuals.

Hello aspirant,

Non-verbal communication includes facial expressions, the tone and pitch of the voice, gestures displayed through body language (kinesics) and the physical distance between the communicators (proxemics).

There are 10 types of nonverbal Communication: environment, appearance and artifacts, proxemics and territoriality, haptics, paralanguage, chronemics, kinesics, and eye contact.

Non-verbal communication is based on visual, picture, graph, sign etc. that can be seen very much attractive. Reducing wastage of time: The message of non-verbal communication reached the receiver very fast. For this reason it reduces the wastage of valuable time of the communicator.
