Hello,

Nonverbal communication refers to the ways in which beings transfer information about their emotions, needs, intentions, attitudes, and thoughts without the use of verbal language.

The Non-Verbal Communication, helps in setting up and continuing the interpersonal relationships while the verbals only help in communicating the external events.

Thank you.

Hello

Nonverbal communication means/refers to the communication you make while interacting with someone without using any words.

To make it even easier for you to understand, If I tell you in layman terms then ,
the communication without speaking is nothing but nonverbal communication as  verbal means through words so non verbal means without words.

You communicate nonverbally with the help of

  • ----------) hand gestures
  • ----------) facial expression
  • ----------) body poster or body movement

For example,
When you see a friend of yours who is at some distance then you simply wave your hand and your friend interprets it as an hello.
Here in this example, you didn't say/speak anything to your friend but still you said hello without speaking and that's how you used  hand gesture to  communicate non verbally.

Thankyou
