Hello Onkar,
For applying in different IITs and NITs, they will provide the list of documents which will be required during verification along with their admission dates and other details in their respective websites.
The documents needed to be uploaded while submitting the M.Tech. application --
· Scanned version of your photograph
· Scanned version of your signature
· Mark sheet of the last semester or consolidated mark sheet and degree certificate till the qualifying degree(Scanned copy).
· Caste Certificate (OBC-NCL/SC/ST), if needed. An affidavit for having applied in case the certificate is not yet received(Scanned copy).
· PwD Certificate, if needed.
· Statement of Purpose, if needed.
During the admission process/interview call/written test these are the important documents needed to be carried along with other documents specified in their website(if any) –
· Original copy of B.Tech degree certificate
· Original copy of B.Tech mark sheets
· Original copy of 10th and 12th certificate and mark sheets
· Gate scorecard
· Original copy of Caste certificate (if reserved category)
· Photo ID card etc.
For students in the final year of the qualifying degree, may be considered for provisional admission provided they give an undertaking that the final examinations (including theory /practical /project/thesis examination) of the qualifying degree will be over before the date of registration as specified in the Academic Calendar of the Institute. You may have to produce the proof of having appeared in the final examinations of the qualifying degree by the day of registration compulsorily.
You can go through the website of the respective IITs, as the admission process and documents required at the time of admission differs for every IIT.
Hope this helps!
Thank you and All the Best!
