What does qualifying marks in ComedK mean?What's the benefit if i have crossed the qualifying marks?

The qualifying marks are the cutoff marks which a candidate must score to be eligible for counselling. The colleges rely on COMEDK UGET scores for making admission decision but they declare their own minimum required cut off that a candidate needs to score in order to get selected in that college.
