No, as per the abbreviation on the CBSE marksheet , XXXX refers to the "Improvement", where students can choose to not appear for the improvement exam, as it is not mandatory and students are considered "Pass" by the board. However, "RT" refers to "Repeat Theory", students have to give re-exam for the theoretical paper or they will be considered "Fail".
I had got RT in chemistry and Biology both....In which chemistry gone out in addtional subject due to less marks than biology....please tell me that did I have to give compartment of both the subjects......My result is declared as "Comp"
Hi
RT means Repeat theory
xxxx is a new abbreviation introduced in CBSE mark sheet which stands for ‘Improvement’. It is essentially for those students who appeared for 6 subjects and failed in one subject. It is not mandatory to appear for the improvement exam and students are considered ‘Pass’ in the board examination.
Rt xxxx means repeat theory improvement is what I think. It means you can choose to give improvement exam for that paper next year as a private candidate but Its not mandatory to give improvement exams the choice is yours. Whatever be the result of improvement you are considered pass and your previous original result still stands valid.
