Here, I am mentioning you the steps to become an advocate in India.

Step 1- Choose any stream after class 10th.

Step 2- Pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Law (L.L.B).

  • Route 1 : Pursuing Law After Class 12th (5- Year L.L.B Program).
  • Route 2 : Pursuing Law After Graduation (3- Year L.L.B Program).

hey there,

After completing your 12th standard, you can either enroll for the 5-year integrated BA.  Do LLB degree course or do graduation in any discipline and then do 3 years LLB course.  You can also appear for the entrance test conducted by the institute of your choice or appear in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

Upon successful completion of your degree, you will need to start with being an apprentice or assistant to an advocate.

Hello there

Good to see that you want to become an advocate and wanted to tell you that it's very good field to make your career and also to make your life meaningful as this field will offer you to give your best in the society for the upliftment.

Now if you want to practice in the courts then you can follow this simple step. Firstly you have to graduate yourself in law degree . This you can do in two ways either you can do a five year integrated degree or a 3 year LLB degree to be eligible for becoming an advocate in India. Secondly you can dosome internships to gain practical work experience which will definitely enhance your personality and will make you able professionally.
