what exam do i have to give to practice medicine in india if i have studuied from abroad? is it neet pg?
Hope you are doing good
Aa i said you'll be required to clear FMGE exam and not NEET PG as its taken to give admission on post graduate level.
FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination
For those students who complete their MBBS from abroad and want to further practice in India, it is compulsory to give MCI Examination for them so that they can start their professional life in India as well.
Also ,the school from.where you are doing your MBBS should have been listed in the WHO International Directory of Medical Schools. Once you clear this exam, you will be equivalent from those who have done their MBBS from India. Only then you are allowed to choose your career in the field of medicine in INDIA.
Even after clearing the exam , you have to do 1 year of internship in order to be eligible. If you don't do that .. then also you cannot practice medicine in india even if you clear the exam.
The MCI test is not at all counted as easy one and you have to do give your 100% in order to pass.
