You can give both the exams for getting admission in BTECH. Both these exams are conducted to provide admissions in courses such as BTECH, MBA etc.
The admission exam NPAT 2021 is administered by SVKM's NMIMS for admission to BBA, BTech, BSc, BCom, BDes, MBA (Technology), B.A. (Hons) Liberal Arts, and other integrated courses. UG admission is available at NMIMS campuses in Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore, and Dhule based on NPAT scores.
The NPAT exam was proctored online from the comfort of one's own home by NMIMS. Since July 21, the university's result page has been presenting the NPAT merit list for various courses. NMIMS CET by SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) conducted the exam in online mode. The exam was conducted online for NMIMS CET applications for applicants seeking admission to B.Tech (4 year), MBA Tech (5 year), and MBA Pharma Tech (5 year). The NMIMS Common Entrance Test will be used to determine admission to these programmes (CET).

As it provide course like Tech ( 4 yr),MBA tech (5yr) and MBA pharmac tech (5 yrs).

NMIMS NPAT (Narsee Monjee Institute for Mangement Studies ,National Test for Programs After Twelfth ) is conducted to admit students into BBA , Bcom , BA Hons, Liberal arts, Finance , BBA Branding and advertisement and BSc courses . This exam is held every year .
Whereas , for B.Tech in NMIMS the aspirants have to qualify the NMIMS -CET exam .The criteria to sit for this exam is to have minimum 50% marks in PCM subjects for the Mumbai campus and 45% marks for Shripur Campus .
