What happen if i not appear in compartment exam (cbse)

Hello aspirant,

Due to XYZ reason, if you're unable to appear for your compartment exam this year then don't worry.



CBSE gives you three chances for compartment



1.after board exams



2.after next year boards exam



3.after 2 years of board exam



According to the rule of CBSE, a candidate who does not appear or fails at one or all the chances of compartment shall be treated to have failed in the examination and shall be required to reappear in all the subjects at the subsequent annual examination of the Board as per syllabi and courses laid down for the examination concerned in order to pass the examination. The candidate shall have the option to appear at the practical examination in the subjects involving practical or retain their previous marks in one more annual examination after the Third Chance Compartment.

The candidates who are unable to qualify the exams and land up in compartment exams will be given three chances to clear the same.
