What happens if there is a tie in JIPMER Merit List?

Hello KRITIKA,
It's really helpful to know about tie breakers because there are hundreds and hundreds of students even at a single score so its like :
1. English and comprehension score aren't included for a tie breaker.
2. If still there's a tie Reasoning and logistical thinking scores are excluded too.
3. If tie up still remains physics marks will be eliminated.
4. If there's a tie again, chemistry scores will be excluded and same for biology after there's another tie.
At the end if tie still persist then student of higher age will be given higher rank.

In case two or more candidates obtain equal percentile in JIPMER MBBS, then the inter-se-merit will be determined as per the following procedure:
- Firstly, the English marks secured in JIPMER MBBS will be eliminated.
- If the tie still persists, Physics marks will be eliminated.
- If the tie still remains, Chemistry marks will be eliminated.
- If the tie is still there, Biology marks will be eliminated.
- In case, the tie is still not broken, then a candidate senior in age will be given preference over the younger candidate.
