You can apply for job in various pharmaceutical companies.You can work in these companies  as marketing  management, quality control officer or production in charge.Some company like GOodrej have biotechnology division where lot of job oppurtunities are available.You can also look for job in IT field. It is better to do software and networking courses before applying for job.You can work as softwae developer or web developer in any software company.You can also take teaching job after completing M.TECH/M.E. You can also apply for government jobs.There is lot of oppurtunities for b.tech in biotechnology in abroad.

There are a lot of options available once you complete B.Tech Biotechnology. You could either go for Job or higher studies after completing B.Tech.

Higher Studies:

• Apply for GATE exam which will help you get through to one of the best colleges in India for doing M.Tech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bio-Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc.
• You can go for MBA field after completing B.Tech-Biotech.
• There are lot of options available abroad once you complete undergraduation from India. MS from abroad is generally considered very good for future job opportunities.
• Apply for UGC-NET/CSIR-NET if you wish to pursue research or if you wish to go for lecturership.

Jobs:

• You could either opt for a Job in the related field such as Market Research, Sales and Marketing, Core Biotechnology R&D, etc.
• Ample Pharma related jobs are present in companies such as Mankind, Sun Pharma, Cadilla, etc.
• Research oriented labs such as Pathology Labs, Hospitals, etc.
• Also, can try out your skills in Publication field.

Its basically upto you what you wish to pursue after you have graduated. Always keep that in mind and you will achieve success.
