Dear Student,

D pharmacy means diploma in pharmacy. It is 2 year programme whereas B.Pharmacy is 4 year programme. After graduating from d.pharmacy you can work under supervision of someone in drug store or open your own retail drug store But after graduating from B.pharmacy there is lot more career options. You can open clinical labroratory, plant or retail drug store. You can also work in MNC of pharmacy and healthcare sector which make medicines because in b.pharmacy you will learn lot more than d.pharmacy but it requires more time investment and money. The initial salary will be same for both you can decide according to your decision but b.pharmacy  has more career options then d.pharmacy.

Hello,

Diploma in pharmacy is a two year full time diploma course, it is done by people who are interested in business, get employed in drug stores etc. However, it would be really good if you go for a Bpharm degree. It is a four year full time undergraduate level degree programme. It has more scope when compared to D.pharm. You can go for an MR job, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing,  other jobs in R&D( after an mpharm degree ), quality control, Drug inspector, and many other government jobs as well.

So, i would advise you to go for a Bpharm degree.

Thankyou
